- SAFEWAY CLUB for EDUCATION Powered by eScrip, ID #6642929 AMS will earn cash as opposed to merchadise as in past years. We earn a % based on your purchases at Safeway as long as you have designated AMS as your SCHOOL OF CHOICE.
- The program runs October 1st through May 21, 2008
- Please remember, you MUST RE-DESIGNATE every year or your purchases won't count!
- If you would like to go ahead and designate AMS as your school of choice, our ID # is 6642929. You have the following choices: Call 1-800-801-4973, log onto www.escrip.com, or send an email to waysmeans@amspta.org and we will be happy to sign you up.
- ABITIBI RECYCLING PROGRAMThis is a year round earth and environment friendly event. We ask and "Plead" that you bring all of your newspapers, magazines, shopping catalogs, office/school papers, mail & envelopes, folders & fax, color & copy paper, BAGGED SHREDDED paper to our green & yellow recycle bin located in the front parking lot. The bin does not accept phone books due to the excessive amount of glue on the spine of the book. HOWEVER, if you are feeling energetic and wish to rip the pages out, that is great, the paper is acceptable, just not the glue. :) We earn money for every piece of paper that you bring, so please don't leave your papers curbside, bring them to AMS's Abitibi Paper Retriever Bin and let us make the GREEN!!!

ABITIBI PAPER RETRIEVER RECYCLING PROGRAM: •Recycling Contest ended in March

• Please continue to bring all of the items from the ACCEPTABLE LIST to our green and yellow bins in the front parking lot
• Please leave at home for the county to pick up all of the items on the NOT ACCEPTABLE LIST

- BOXTOPS for EDUCATION--Boxtops are found on a HUGE variety of products and are worth 10 cents each. For a complete list, visit www.boxtops4education.com. Please clip the boxtop off the box or package and send them to the school office for the benefit of students at Arundel Middle School. A DIME IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE!!!

- CAMPBELLS LABELS for EDUCATION-BUILDING BETTER SCHOOLS ONE UPC AT A TIME! Please save only the UPC along with the little Campbells logo next to the UPC, or lids from all of the participating Campbells products. This process is new and the entire label is no longer needed. To view what is exactly needed from each product and to view the eligible products click here.
- Since there is NO EXPIRATION date on the labels, please save them throughout the entire year, (to include the summer months) and send them to school with your child.
- Containers have been placed both in the main office and the cafeteria.
- TOGETHER we can earn FREE STUFF for Arundel Middle School, ONE UPC AT A TIME!!!!
- Target ID #57332 If you shop at Target, you can support AMS when shop with your Target Visa Credit Card, Target Credit Card, Target Check Card OR Target Business Card. All you need to do is one of these when you shop in person or online and a percentage of the amount of each purchase goes back to our school in the form of a cash donation from Target twice a year.

- OFFICE DEPOT 5% BACK TO SCHOOLS ID #70047058 Office Depot will give back to AMS, 5% of your net purchase whenever you shop at any Office Depot store or online. Just be sure to either give them our ID #70047058 or mention our school name and they will look it up for you. This program runs throughout the entire year!
- STAPLES RECYCLE for EDUCATION WANTED: Empty Ink and Laser Toner Cartridges WHY: AMS will earn $3.00 cash for each empty cartridge that is eligible for redemption!
- Recycling helps to decrease the amount of waste that goes into landfills and helps to reduce the amount of toxic chemicals absorbed into the Earth.
- For every ink or laser toner cartridge that is recycled, 2 qts. of oil are kept out of landfills!
- The # of ink and laser toner cartridges thrown away in 1 yr. is enough to circle the earth!
- It takes 1,000 yrs. for an ink or laser toner cartridge to decompose in a landfill!
- PLEASE............send your empty cartridges from home AND work and place them in the provided box in the main office. Help AMS help our environment!
